Manchester based two-piece Brown Brogues are well know for their unrivalled live sets, showing off their bluesy early Cramps-like garage songs with the power of a rocket packed in to one drum kit and one guitar so what better venue to hear their sounds than a small, second floor section of a suburban bar.
The pair will be playing songs from their hotly tipped second album, ‘Triflin’ which was recorded at Graceland Studios on a reel-to-reel tape machine don’t you know.
It’s going to be loud and really, really good.
‘The band are pure garage rock but with some great lo-fi tunes, the songs are pop classics melted with the sort of thrilling feedback that Jesus And Mary Chain once toyed with.’
